Submitting your personal details on our website will enable you to be contacted by us and/or one of our genuine partners. Move Right work closely with AOL Services Ltd who market the property on all the main sales portals on behalf of our customers. Once you have submitted your details we or they may contact you directly to provide you with advice to market your property.

As well as this Move Right or AOL may contact you by text and/or email in regards to the selling process from time to time with various options that may involve partner companies that we are associated with. You may choose to opt out from receiving email or text at any time.

On May 25th 2018 the ICO introduce a new guideline for all EU businesses as to how they handle and control personal data. This legislation is termed GDPR. Move Right understands that you care how your information is first collected and then used. This notice describes our website privacy policy and also forms part of the website terms and conditions (Website Terms). By accepting our Terms and Conditions you agree to the practices in this Privacy Policy.

When you submit your details on website you are agreeing that we can forward your contact details to one of our selected partner companies.

GDPR Policy

We are transparent about the data we are storing and why we are storing it. Mostly data collected and stored by us consists of the following: Customers and potential customers’ name, email address, postal address and telephone number. In some cases customers payment details in the form or credit and debit card information is stored on our secure payment gateway partner, Stripe.

The information is stored indefinitely as often customers or potential customers request our services and those of our partners and suppliers on a repeated basis. Only directors of our company have access to our data. Consent from our customers and potential customers will have been asked for specifically. At any point in a customer’s journey, they have the right to access all the information we are holding on them. If they don’t want us to store their data anymore, then they have the ‘right to be forgotten’, meaning we will delete all the information we are holding on them.  


All personal computers and mobile phones connected to an intranet or the internet are all password protected. Each office internet connection is secure. No wifi is provided for visitors in our offices. We maintain no physical servers on any of our premises.


The physical security of our data is provided in data centres via the Cloud. We use no local networks. Off-premises, cloud-based solutions are also adopted with a private cloud service.

Customers and potential customers who provide their data (name, telephone, postal address, email address and payment information) are adequately protected as their details are stored securely in the Cloud.


Data protection is the default position of all our processes. All paper documents are shredded before being scanned, saved as a PDF and stored in the Cloud. We keep no hard copies of documents on any of our premises.


Applicants applying for our services and third party services must give their express permission (in the form of a tick box they have to check) for their data to be stored. Furthermore, any marketing emails we send will also have to have a similar check-box.


We regularly share customer data with our trusted partners and suppliers such as buyers, lawyers or property maintenance companies. The interfaces and connections we use with our suppliers are all firewall and password protected. In addition, we have requested our suppliers and partners guarantee their own data security to make sure all data is suitably protected.


We request explicit permission from our customers for everything their data is used for and every point of contact. Customers and potential customers are required to opt-in at every stage.


Data that can identify our customers is pseudonymised. Datasets are connected with, for example, a reference number rather than personal identifiers.


Customers and potential customers can ‘opt out’ of being contacted by us and our partners and suppliers, all data associated with an ‘opt out’ is deleted within 24 hours of a request, including cloud hosts where there may be multiple copies.


Individual customers can request we transfer their data to a different supplier, even if this is a rival business. Data is stored securely in a way that allows us easily to provide a copy of any information we hold on that customer.


Our offices and the homes of directors, where data may be used and equipment stored are all protected under lock and key, alarm systems and CCTV systems. No physical copies of any personal data are kept in any location. No USB sticks, CDs or DVDs are used by our organisation. Whilst we ensure that we closely monitor our systems, firewalls, spam filters and connections, any personal data that suffers a breach we will inform both the data controller and the customers affected within 72 hours.


Our default is that GDPR protects our business, our colleagues and our customers. As such we are diligent, thorough and compliant with all our data. We regularly audit our processes and security, achieving customer opt-in at every stage and ensure our suppliers and partners are compliant also.
